Lap Quilt Workshop (Multiple Dates)

Patchwork for beginners.
Have you ever fancied making a small lap quilt? Maybe you have a special item of clothing you would like to incorporate but unsure how? This 6-session workshop will guide you through the process, enabling you to gain the skills and information to complete your own quilt. The quilt is hand sewn and suitable for the complete beginner. All techniques will be explained and demonstrated. This workshop is for those wanting to learn a new skill in a relaxed environment, with sessions spread out, allowing you to enjoy the patchwork process and complete a lap quilt.
Sessions 1 – 3 (5th May, 14th June, 28th June) will cover template making, preparing and sewing blocks.
Session 4 (12th July) will cover putting the quilt top together.
Session 5 (26th July) will cover tacking and quilting.
Session 6 (23rd August) will cover binding and finishing your lap quilt.
Requirements: Everything will be provided but if you have a special fabric, please bring this along.
